Did you know kids can get a FREE dinner around Richmond every night of the week?!

Yep - you read that correctly! There's at least one Richmond area restaurant offering a free meal to children each night of the week. Some spots offer buy one get one free deals for children, some offer free ice cream to little kids, and some offer a free kids meal per adult entree.

Everyday Deals for Kids Meals in Richmond, Virginia:

1. Bruster's Real Ice Cream: Kids under 40" receive a free ice cream every day! The participating Bruster's locations are on Hull Street, on Robious Road, and on Staples Mill. The two Midlothian locations have outdoor play spaces with sand play & yard games. Check here for a full review.

Nearby: The location on Robious is just minutes from Huguenot Park, too, if you want to extend your family time!

2. CiCi's Pizza: Kids under 3 eat free all day, every day at this pizza buffet. CiCi Pizza is located in Midlothian off Huguenot Road.

3. Fancy Biscuit: Every Thursday you can buy one entree, get one free for breakfast, brunch or lunch (no matter your age - adults get this too). The BOGO offer is only valid for dining in, and you can eat inside the restaurant, on the patio and the tent. The Fancy Biscuit is located on West Cary St. in the city.

4. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: Locations around the country reward students in K-12 with a *free* donut for every "A" on their report card. Students can earn up to 6 free, regular glazed donuts with no purchase necessary. Make sure you bring in a physical copy of the report card - digitals don't work. There are two Krispy Kreme locations in the Richmond metro area: one off Broad Street near Willow Lawn and one in Midlothian.

5. Roots Natural Kitchen: Kids under 12 eat free *daily* with the purchase of an adult meal. If you've got more than one kiddo, that's okay! All kids in your family can eat free with one adult purchase. Roots Natural Kitchen is located in the West End, near VCU and in Midlothian.

6. Silver Diner: Sign your kids up for "Kids Club," and they will receive a free meal & shake on their birthday. "Kids Club" members earn a free meal every 5 visits. Silver Diner is located in Innsbrook.

Nearby: The Innsbrook Silver Diner is less than 5 minutes from Springfield Park, and it's very close to the Short Pump area.

Everywhere Kids Eat Free on Sundays in Richmond, Virginia:

1. Moe's Southwest Grill: Kids eat *free* all day with purchase of adult entrée. Moe's is located in Innsbrook.

2. Tarrant's West: Kids 10 & under eat free on Sundays after 3 pm with the purchase of an entree. Kids also eat free on snow days (*if schools are closed due to snow, but the roads are still drivable). Tarrant's West is located in Short Pump.

1. Joe's Inn: Kids (12 and under) eat *free* from the Kids Menu with one per paying adult entree. Joe's Inn in Bon Air participates in this deal; Joe's Inn in the Fan does not!

Everywhere Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays in Richmond, Virginia

1. Fire House Subs: Kids eat for *free* on Tuesdays and Sundays with the purchase of a medium or large sub combo. Firehouse Subs is located in Innsbrook and Virginia Center Station, and off of Staples Mill and Parham Road.

2. Joe's Inn: Kids (12 and under) eat *free* from the Kids Menu with one per paying adult entree. Joe's Inn in Bon Air participates in this deal; Joe's Inn in the Fan does not!

3. Moe's Southwest Grill: Kids under 12 years old eat *free* all day with purchase of adult entrée of $6 or more. The kids meal includes a burrito, taco or quesadilla plus chips & salsa, a drink & cookie. JSYK: this offer varies from location to location.

4. Panda Express: Kids eat free on Tuesdays from 5pm-9pm with the purchase of 2 adult entrees. This is only at participating locations.

Everywhere Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays in Richmond, Virginia

1. Cabo Fish Taco: Kids 12 and under can eat for free on Wednesdays from 4pm- close with the purchase of an adult entree. Cabo Fish Taco is located in Scott's Addition.

2. Eazzy Burger: The *Kids Eat Free* deal is every Wednesday from 11am–9pm. Each kid’s meal includes your kiddo’s choice of a hamburger, hot dog or grilled cheese… plus fries & a drink. This deal is for *dine in* only! For every burger or sandwich you buy on Wednesdays, you’ll get a *FREE* Kids Meal.

3. The Fishin' Pig: Kids eat for free on Wednesdays from 5pm-9pm with the purchase of an adult entree! The Fishin' Pig's new location is in Innsbrook, and you can also find it in Farmville and Norfolk.

Nearby: The Fishin' Pig Innsbrook is very close to the Innsbrook walking trail, and just a short drive away is Springfield Park.

4. Toast: Kids eat *free* with the purchase of an adult meal (dine-in deal only). Toast is located in Midlothian, in The Village and in Scott's Addition.

Nearby: Toast in The Village is next to University of Richmond's campus and Bandy Field.

4. Tres Machos: Kids eat FREE every Wednesday; one child’s meal free per paying adult.Tres Machos has locations in Midlothian, Glen Allen and Henrico.

5. River City Diner: Kids eat *free* every Wednesday starting at 5PM. You can receive one free kids meal for every adult meal purchased. River City Diner is located in Bon Air.

1. Sticky Rice: Kids under 12 eat *free* from the kids menu. Kids Meals include grilled cheesy, poki burger, poki cheeseburger, corn dogs, and oodles o' noodles. All kids meals are serrated with a side of tots and tot sauce. Sticky Rice is located in The Fan.

Nearby: Sticky Rice is 5 minutes from Maymont, and it's 4 minutes from Grayland Tot Lot.

Budget Friendly Meals for Children in Richmond, Virginia:

While kids don't eat free at the Richmond area restaurants, you can't beat the prices on their kids meals! All feature kids meals cost under $7.

1. Ellie's Hot Dogs and Ice Cream: Love hot dogs? This is the spot for you. Ellie's 9 different hot dog specials, including all beef & plant-based hot dog options! You can also get mac&cheese, chili, potato salad & more on the side. The highlight for kids is the OCTOPUS hot dog. With prices between $1.55 & $9.32, Ellie's Hot Dogs and Ice is a budget friendly option for the whole family!

Kids Meal Cost: $4.14 and it includes a hot dog and mac & cheese

2. Lalo's Margaritas: This Mexican grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lalo's Margaritas has a warm, festive atmosphere with papel picado decorations. You can also enjoy seating inside, at the bar and outside. Outside seating is really easy with kids because there is space to run between The Grill and Superstars Pizza. It's also in such a fun part of town. You can walk to Libbie Park & Playground or you can shop the stores around Libbie, Patterson and Grove!

The kids menu includes beef tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, cheeseburgers, arroz con pollo, macaroni, chicken nuggets and more. The kids menu costs between $7.50 and $10, but you can grab a deal for $3.50 on Wednesdays!

Pro Tip: Arrive early by 5 for dinner! This spot brings a crowd after 6pm, especially on weekends and when UR is in session.

3. El Patron Mexican Restaurant: This locally owned Mexican restaurant serves lunch, dinner and drinks. You'll find omelets, chiles rellenos, enchiladas, tacos and more. You can also purchase a kids meal for $3.50 all day on Wednesdays! Kids meals are for kiddos 10 and younger, and it includes juice or milk.

4. Boulevard Burgers and Brew: We love the retro diner vibe at Boulevard Burger & Brew! It’s causal & fun with inside dining and a patio. The menu is also a crowd pleaser for all of our picky eaters. Our favorites are Kelly’s classic, the black bean burger, kids meals & loaded tots. Boulevard Burger & Brew also has vegan & veggie options!

Kids Meal Cost: $5.95 for an entree, side & kiddie sized vanilla shake. You can pick from burgers, chicken tenders, grilled cheese & hot dogs.
