This guide is under construction. Due to overwhelming interest, I've posted it while I am still working on it!

My RVA Kids Party Guide has over 30 places around Richmond, Virginia that are perfect for hosting a little kid's birthday. You'll find venues in Henrico, Chesterfield, the City of Richmond, and Hanover. These RVA places have spaces to play, interactive activities, and some even have a party host! 1.Bon Secours Play 60 Obstacle Course: If your kiddo loves sports, this is a fun and free place to host his next birthday party! Located at Bon Secours Training Center, this is such a fun spot to visit with kids & football fans. While the Washington Commanders no longer travel to RVA for training camp, the complex & course are still open to the public. You can rent the park for private events. Call (804)257-9913.

2. Chesterfield County Parks: You can rent and reserve Chesterfield Parks and Recs facilities for parties. There are 9 parks with picnic shelters - each one is 24 x 24 feet covered with 9-12 picnic tables. You have the option of reserving it for half day or all day.

Cost: It costs between $40 and $120 to rent a picnic shelter.

3. Henrico County Parks: You can rent out picnic shelters around Henrico County's parks. This costs between $25 and $50, depending on how long you reserve a picnic shelter. These Henrico County Parks have their splash parks on between Memorial Day and Labor Day: Short Pump Park, Twin Hickory, Dunncroft Castle Point, Dorey Park, Eastern Henrico Rec Center
