Do Portugal Circus is in Richmond February 6 through February 22, 2026!
Since 1911, the Portugal family has been entertaining for 5 generations. They started a circus in Mexico, and then they started traveling around the Mexican Pacific Coast, eventually coming to the USA in 2021. All shows and stunts are coordinated and run by the Portugal family and they continue to pass the Circus tradition down to younger generations!
Do Portugal Circus' 2026 show is an interactive performance with juggling, dancing, aerial acrobatics & thrilling stunts. The silly clowns even pick audience members to perform with them -- throwing popcorn, catching toilet paper, etc.

Where is Do Portugal Circus performing in Richmond?
Do Portugal Circus is performing at The Diamond.
Its address is: 3001 North Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23230.
The tent is set up in the Diamond’s parking lot. Depending on weather, bring a coat. It can be chilly in the tent prior to the show starting & the audience arriving. Definitely bring your baby carrier if you’ve got a little one!

How much do tickets cost?
Tickets start around $23 per person & everyone 2 years old and up needs a ticket. You can select options between $23.79-$66.59. Unless you get a VIP ticket, seating is general admission - you can sit where you want.
Parking costs around $5. Make sure to bring cash if you're going to park in The Diamond's lot.

When are the performance times?
Do Portugal Circus is performing multiple shows in Richmond from February 6 through February 22, 2026. On weekends, you can even pick matinee performance times - great for younger children!
Doors open 40 minutes before the show, get there early for the best seats & the smallest lines on concessions.

How long is the show?
The show is an hour and 45 minutes. It is VERY interactive, so you can move around or stand up. Children don't need to be seated the entire show.
Is there a concession stand or gift shop?
The concession stand has food & drink ranging from $3-$10. You can get water, soda, popcorn, hotdogs. You can also purchase lightsabers for $25 & balloons for $5.
Is the performance ADA accessible?
While there’s accessible seating, there is not room for strollers.
Does the show have access to bathrooms?
The circus also has accessible portapotties! These are outside the tented area.
