Everything YOU need to know about visiting Urban Air Glen Allen:

Urban Air Adventure Park is a franchised indoor, adventure park all around the US. The newest location is in Glen Allen, Virginia -- it's actually in the former Bed, Bath and Beyond location right off Broad and Gaskins.

It has plenty of parking outside, and you can bring strollers from the parking lot into the park very easily. If you have a baby, definitely bring a stroller. This space is massive!

This adventure park has multiple play spaces, tons of seating around each play section, and a cafe that serves pizza, chicken nuggets & all the kids' favorites.

If your children are older, you could also get work completed remotely -- I am thinking on school holidays and summer break! You can find bar seating overlooking the bumper cars and laser tag, there's booth seating around the ninja course, and there are picnic tables around the playground, cafe, and trampoline park. All of the seating areas have plugs nearby.

*See seating options below. It's everywhere!

Where is Urban Air Glen Allen located?

Located in Henrico's West End, Urban Air is less than 5 minutes from Kids Empire, and less than 10 minutes from the Short Pump Area.

When is this adventure park open?

The Glen Allen location is currently open 7 days a week.

Mondays-Thursdays from 4pm to 8pm

Fridays from 4pm-9pm

Saturdays from 10am-9pm

Sundays from 12pm-8pm

12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Holiday hours, like spring break and summer break, have not been announced yet!

*This space is well-staffed. I noticed many employees are high school and college students, so I am guessing the hours reflect availability after school hours right now.

When is the best time to visit?

Right now, expect a crowd on weekends! Aim for weekdays or right around open on weekends or close on Sundays.

Grab the kids & take them right after school or after work for dinner to make a special week night date. It open 4pm-8pm Mondays to Thursdays. While you won't have the place completely to yourself on a week day, you will have no wait on any experience.

Close out your weekend with a visit for dinner on Sunday evening. The park is open until 8pm.

Mid-day on Saturdays and Sundays will be crowded, especially if the weather is too cold, too hot or rainy. Try to arrive as close to opening as you can - 10am on Saturdays and 12pm on Sundays.

What are the best ages to visit?

While all ages are welcome, this adventure park is geared towards children 4 years old and older and anyone who is a thrill seeker. Activities do not have an age requirement, but rather a height requirement.

Pro Tip: Make sure to measure your child before visiting, so you know what (s)he can participate in!

It does not have a specific baby or toddler play area. The only area reserved for young kids is Tubes Playground. It’s for children under 52” (~10 years old & younger can play in the playground).

This would make a really great experience gift for birthdays, holidays, etc!

Do you wear shoes to play?

No, you do not wear shoes. You wear grippy socks to play -- these are just like the trampoline park socks (grips on the bottom). If you don't have a pair of trampoline socks, you can purchase Urban Air Socks for $3.99.

Can we bring our own food?

Outside food and drink are not allowed. There is a full service cafe on property. You can order kid favorites like pizza, chicken nuggets, fries, etc.

I didn't have any trouble bringing in reusable water bottles or traditional kids' snacks ( goldfish in a diaper bag).
