Rassawek's 5th annual Autumn Festival & Pro Rodeo is next weekend on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19. This non-profit festival brings big fun for the whole family: bull riding, live music, antique cars, and even helicopter and steam engine wagon rides! Kids can jump into the Corn Truck, decorate pumpkins, and enjoy hands-on crafts in the Kids Corral.

Everything You Need to Know about Rassawek's Autumn Festival and Pro Rodeo

This festival is rain or shine, and it's all on the gorgeous property of Rassawek Vineyards. The vineyard spans about 1,200 acres in Goochland County. Every building at Rassawek is a historic structure that's been restored: The Country Store and Short Pump Grocery to the

train cars!

During the festival, the events, food trucks and rodeo are spread out around Rassawek. There's also activities and events scheduled throughout each day of the festival, so plan to spread at least half a day there! The main event really is the Pro Rodeo, and this unique competition is at 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather and bring strollers or wagons for your children!

Activities For Kids: Kids will love the Corn Truck, pumpkin decorating, and crafts at the Kids Corral. And there are SO many more activities for kids and families to enjoy:

1. Steam Engine wagon rides

2. Live animals & a petting zoo

3. Kids hay court with slides & more

4. Watching the Pro Rodeo

5. Hands on agricultural activities

6. Equipment demonstrations like chainsaw carving

7. Arts and crafts like pumpkin painting
