Free Coloring Pages & Art Activities

Updated: May 7, 2020

So many artists, teachers and businesses have shared free coloring pages for children! Here are some of the ones I know of!

1. The ABCs of Transportation: The Virginia Department of Transportation has outdone itself by creating coloring pages and activities for children that are all about transportation! In addition to the ABCs of Transportation, you can find craft ideas, puzzles and word searches, and more coloring activities (signs & pollinators).

2. COVID-19: A kid-friendly coloring book: The Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU created 7 pages of coloring activities to help children cope with the worry and confusion surrounding COVID-19.These activities include coloring sheets, mazes, word searches, kid-friendly information about COVID-19, tips for staying safe, and opportunities to share emotions through words and pictures. Follow along with them on Instagram at @childrensatvcu .

3. From the Pond: Full-time teacher and blogger Mel ( @fromthepond) has a free coloring club.

4. Lilly Pulitzer: Love Lilly's colorful prints and mommy-and-me matching outfits? Lilly Pulitzer has free coloring pages for us to print, color/paint and be creative. #bethesunshine

5. Sally King Benedict: An artist from Georgia has free ColorMe printables on her her website.

6. Vineyard Vines: Our local Vineyard Vines store emailed coloring pages of whales as doctors, nurses and springtime images. Print these off and when completed send Vineyard Vines a picture. When the store reopens at Stony Point, they will pick a few entries to send prizes to! You can also bring them into the store to hang up once it reopens. Want a copy? Send an email to: stonypointmanagers@vineyardvines.com .
